MISD Early Childhood Services 
Early Childhood services offered through the Macomb Intermediate School District (MISD). Services support the development of children from birth to age eight in Macomb County. 

Great Start Macomb
Great Start Macomb is a partnership of local professionals, community leaders, and parents committed to establishing and maintaining a comprehensive early childhood system addressing all factors influencing a young child's readiness for school and life. Early On is a statewide early intervention system that provides a range of family services and supports to help infants and toddlers from birth to 36 months who have developmental delays or established conditions that may lead to delays.

The Macomb Infant Preschool Program (MIPP)
MIPP is a special education program operated by the MISD, which serves children ranging in age from a few weeks to approximately thirty- three months who require services due to a medical difficulty or developmental delay that can affect learning.                                 

Leaps and Bounds Family Services

Leaps and Bounds Family Services is a non-profit agency dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults. They provide education programs and services that support families and help children reach their potential and become productive citizen. Families are eligible to take advantage of free trainings and resources, play and learn groups, and more.                    

Maternal Infant Health Program (MIHP)

MIHP is a home visiting program for Medicaid eligible pregnant women and infants. The program provides support, referrals to community resources, coordination with healthcare providers, childbirth/parenting education, breastfeeding education and support by Registered Nurses and Licensed Social Workers.

Infant Mental Health Services 
The IMH Program serves at-risk families with infants and toddlers from pregnancy through age 3, providing advocacy, emotional support, case management services, developmental assessments, parent-infant psychotherapy, and psychiatric services. Contact ACCESS Center at (586) 948-0222, to request a referral to the program.
